Our company was founded in honor of Sharon Carrethers, who earned her heavenly wings after a seven‑year battle with colon cancer following a late screening and diagnosis. Her story fuels our commitment to change the narrative around cancer prevention and early detection.
Sharon a Piece of Cake is honored to partner with the American Cancer Society, standing alongside their mission to bring hope, resources, and lifesaving support to families facing cancer. Through our Cakes Against Cancer initiative, we seek to collaborate with organizations, clinics, hospitals, and businesses to expand access to screenings and preventive care—regardless of age, insurance status, or financial circumstances.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Neither should access to early detection. Together, we can make screenings accessible for all and save lives.
